Shelbyville, IN – The City of Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the launch of a Community Input Survey as part of the development of its 5-Year Strategic Plan. This survey aims to gather valuable insights and opinions from the community regarding updates, enhancements, and new developments within the parks and recreation system.
The input from this survey will be instrumental in creating the priority structure for the 5-Year Strategic Plan, ensuring that the community's needs and desires are at the forefront of future planning.

Last night, June 27, 2024, the first of two public input sessions was held. These sessions are designed to be interactive and conceptual, providing a platform for residents to share their visions and suggestions. The second session is scheduled for this fall, with the date to be announced.
The research, development, and consultation process for the 5-Year Strategic Plan is being led by HWC Engineering, a respected firm known for its expertise in community planning and development.
