The Public Relations Department of the Shelbyville Police Department is a vital part of day-to-day interactions with the public. The PR Department handles all requests for information from the media as well as social media updates and requests. When requested, the PR Department also will go out to different locations and talk about issues facing our citizens today. We currently give about 10 to 15 speeches a year on topics like senior safety, identity theft, narcotics and cyberbullying. We are proud to have been invited to many of the local schools over the years to touch on the topic of cyberbullying.
