Facilities

The Carl McNeely Civic Center serves as the hub for the Shelbyville Parks and Recreation office and is home to our Preschool program. The facility includes the historic Paul Cross Gymnasium, a banquet room, and activity rooms, all of which are available for rent (2-hr minimum) based on availability.

Important Notes:

• Include time for both setup and cleanup within your rental hours.
• Tables and chairs are included with the rental fee and will be set up for your event.
• This is an accessible facility, including restrooms.

Rules and Restrictions:

• Smoking, smokeless tobacco, and alcohol are strictly prohibited on the property.
• Rentals are not available on the following dates:
  • New Year's Eve & New Year's Day
  • Good Friday & Easter
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve & Christmas Day (if Christmas Eve or Christmas Day falls on a weekend, observed holidays given by the city are also excluded).
